Simon has 20+ years of drug discovery experience in top pharmaceutical companies and academic institutes. At Rgenta, Simon helped conceptualize the research, BD, and financing strategies, and has led the development of RNA targeted small molecule discovery platform. Simon has led the team at Rgenta to advance RNA targeted oral small molecules from concept into clinical studies. Prior to Rgenta, Simon was the head of genomics and computational biology group at Abbvie Foundational Neuroscience Center where he established the genomics platform and computational biology function for target discovery and validation. Before Rgenta, Simon was an accomplished scientist and group leader at Pfizer, where he led multiple novel therapeutic targets into Pfizer’s research portfolio and established close collaborations with academic institutions. Simon has co-authored more than 30 research publications and is currently an adjunct faculty at Brandeis University

Joanne brings to Atalanta extensive executive and life science experience, including most recently as cofounder and CEO of Jnana Therapeutics. She led the company from an early discovery platform stage through the transition to clinical stage. Jnana was acquired by Otsuka Pharmaceutical in 2024 for ~$1B following the demonstration of positive clinical proof of concept for the company's lead rare disease program. Prior to Jnana, Joanne held leadership roles at FBRI, F-Prime Capital's initiative to enable therapeutic breakthroughs in Alzheimer's disease and related brain disorders, and at the Broad Institute. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chordoma Foundation. Joanne received her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Florida. She conducted postdoctoral research at Genentech and at the Necker Children's Hospital in Paris.

Poul Sørensen has more than 30 years of international Pharma and Biotech leadership experience and has been responsible for the discovery and development of multiple concepts and compounds in cancer, inflammation, neurology, and immune mediated disorders. Poul Sørensen is a Danish citizen based in the Paris area and currently Partner and Entrepreneur-in-Residence in the biotech start-up builder Argobio Studio, CEO of Inverna Therapeutics, CSO of Allero Therapeutics and Board member of Cenexum Technologies.

Poul Sørensen holds a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from University of Copenhagen, Denmark and is Honorary Professor of Biomedicine at Aarhus University, Denmark.

Dr. Eric Green serves as Chief Executive Officer at Trace Neuroscience. He brings over a decade of experience as a physician-scientist and entrepreneur building and leading companies to translate insights from the human genome into new medicines.

As Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Maze Therapeutics, Eric built and led the scientific organization responsible for target discovery, validation, drug discovery, and translational science with an emphasis on applying insights from human genetics. Earlier in his career, Eric served as Head of Translational Research at MyoKardia, a company developing targeted therapies for the treatment of serious cardiovascular diseases which was acquired by Bristol-Myers Squibb.
